IHRC Alert on Professional Tax! - Good News! Karnataka Govt Extended the due dates for Mar 2020 Professional Tax & Annual Enrolment Payment

Due to the pandemic of Corona Covid -19 virus and the ongoing lockdown, Government of Karnataka extended the time limit for filing of return and making the payments. This notification of dates extension was issued on 16^th Apr 2020.   

• Due date for the month of Mar 2020 Professional Tax Payment & Return was 20^th of Apr 2020. This is now extended to 20^th May 2020.
• Due date for the Annual PT Enrolment Payment was 30^th of Apr 2020. This is also extended to 30^th May 2020.

In coming days, we may see the expect more relaxation in Apr 2020 Payroll PT due dates as well. We will keep you posted on the developments.
