Kerala Government announces Paid Leave on the occasion of General Elections.
The General Administration Department of Kerala has issued a notification, having reference no G.O.(Rt) No.5209/2025/GAD dated 2nd Dec 2025, regarding the declaration of paid holiday on general elections for the Municipal Council and the Municipal Panchayats. The General Elections will be held on 9th & 11th Dec 2025. And hence, employers need to provide paid leave to all those employees who have their voting rights in these regions.
