LWF Alert! - Maharashtra LWF rates revised WEF 18th Mar 2024

The Government of Maharashtra has published the notification on 18th Mar 2024 regarding the changes in the rates of LWF, thereby notifying the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Act, 2024.

Under this amendment, the LWF rates in Maharashtra have been changed from Rs.12 and Rs.36 for Employee and Employer to Rs.25 and Rs.75 respectively with immediate effect.

New LWF Slab is as follows:

Employee LWF Contribution - 25

Employer LWF Contribution - 75
